Pinot Noir, the name evokes romance and passion. From some of the best Pinot Noir grapes in North America, the Santa Lucia Highlands. A cherished place where Pinot Noir thrives. Aromas of rose petals and cherry blossoms chased by cherry cola and strawberries. Taste flavors of strawberries, ripe cherries and a hint of cinnamon. Pair with mesquite smoked ribs and slow dancing on a patio.
Food Pairing: Roast or smoked turkey, smokey TX BBQ (Pork ribs smoked with mesquite is our winemaker's choice). Salmon with a beet and goat cheese salad is another favorite. Pizza with mushrooms and red or cream sauce does well with this Pinot.
Food to Avoid: Stronger seafood and fish like mussels, sea bass, anchovies, sardines. Overly rich sauces and spicy cuisine.
Cheese Pairing: Aged Comté, long-aged Gouda, Camembert and Gruyère.
